Terms and Conditions for Competition entrants to be selected to receive the gift of apprenticeship training funded through the Ideal Standard UK Ltd apprenticeship levy This document outlines the guidelines and procedures for participating in the Apprenticeship Levy Gifting Competition (the “Competition”). The Competition aims to identify and support businesses that will effectively utilise the gifted apprenticeship levy funds (the “Gift”) to create or enhance their own apprenticeship programs. The Competition is open to small and medium-sized enterprises (SME’s). • Entrants must be aged 18 years or older. • The Competition is open to businesses who plan to employ as an apprentice a person who is eligible to complete an industry related plumbing apprenticeship in England. The Gift can only be used for training for new apprentice starts and not to fund apprenticeship training already underway. • The apprenticeship will be specific to plumbing within the Installer industry, subject to availability and to both the recipient and the apprentice meeting all necessary eligibility criteria for the apprenticeship which may include but is not limited to: residency requirements, purpose and use of the funds, and legal compliance. • The apprenticeship will need to commence by no later than 31 December 2024. 2. Entry Requirements • All entries (whether submitted prior to or at the Installer show) must be received by 2pm on the final day of the Installer show. • To enter, participants must use the QR code or URL link to answer the provided quiz questions in full. • Only one entry per person is permitted. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified. 3. Selection Process • There are 3 Gifts to be made throughout the Installer show. • Entries will be reviewed on a daily basis throughout the Installer show after 2pm and shortlisted for that day’s draw based on the accuracy and merit of the answers provided in the quiz responses. • A panel of judges made up of representatives from Ideal Standard UK Ltd ( Ideal Standard ) and the Bathroom Manufacturers Association ( BMA ) will select the successful entrant ( Recipient ) each day. • The successful Recipient will be announced at BMA’s exhibition stand at around 3pm to 4pm that day. Ideal Standard will then contact the Recipient and make the necessary arrangements. • Any unsuccessful entries will be rolled forwards to the next day’s draw. • The decision of the judges is final, and no correspondence will be entered into. 4. The Gift • The Gift is for one level of plumbing apprenticeship training funded through a transfer of apprenticeship levy funds from Ideal Standard to the Recipient. This will enable the Recipient to fund 100% of the eligible apprenticeship training and assessment costs of the relevant apprenticeship standard (up to the funding band maximum) for an accredited plumbing installation qualification for one of the 1. Eligibility •

Recipient’s employees, delivered through a CIPHE recognised training provider of the Recipient’s choice. • Additionally, the Recipient will be offered general support/guidance from Ideal Standard: o on the process to recruit an apprentice, including assistance with any job advert or job description, o to enable the Recipient to set up an apprenticeship service account (into which the levy funds will be transferred), o on the general process involved in setting up an apprenticeship, o a list of approved training providers to deliver the plumbing related apprenticeship, and o on the relevant documents they will need to put in place to formalise the apprenticeship with the apprentice, e.g. the apprenticeship agreement • The Recipient’s apprentice will also have access to agreed resources within Ideal Standard, a market leading bathroom manufacturer, to include: o A 4-hour tour of the Armitage factory and Distribution Centre, o Attendance at an Ideal Standard product training session (of approximately 2 hours), o Access to a dedicated point of contact within Ideal Standard’s Service team to assist the apprentice with any technical queries they may have relating to Ideal Standard’s products, and o Access to Ideal Standard’s mentor scheme (the full details of which will be provided to the Recipient’s apprentice). • The Gift does not include any ancillary expenses the Recipient or their apprentice may incur in using the Gift, e.g. travel or subsistence expenses connected with any visit to Ideal Standard’s premises. • The Gift is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternative benefit. • The Gift must be used solely for the purposes outlined by Ideal Standard in these Terms and Conditions. Unauthorised use of the transferred levy funds is prohibited. Ideal Standard is not liable for any losses or damages incurred by the Recipient in connection with the Gift. • The Recipient understands and agrees that any beneficiary of apprenticeship training funded by the Gift will be the Recipient’s employee and the Recipient agrees to indemnify Ideal Standard in this respect. • The Recipient will be required to enter into a ‘Collaboration Agreement’ to confirm the arrangements relating to the Gift and the transfer of levy funds from Ideal Standard to the Recipient. The Recipient agrees to indemnify and hold Ideal Standard harmless from any claims arising out of or related to the Recipient’s use of the Gift. Personal data provided by entrants will be used in accordance with Ideal Standard’s Privacy Policy (a copy of which is available in the Polices section of Ideal Standard’s website - Privacy Policy | Policies | Ideal Standard).

• By entering the Competition, you agree to the collection, retention, usage and distribution of your personal information in order to process and contact you about your competition entry. 7. General • Ideal Standard reserves the right to cancel or amend the Competition and these Terms and Conditions without notice in the event of any circumstances or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of Ideal Standard’s control. • The Competition and these Terms and Conditions will be governed by UK law. 8.
