WRAS

TMV

TMV2 and TMV3 certi cates prove thermostatic mixing valves meet stringent requirements. TMV3 covers high-risk areas of health care premises, meeting speci cation D 08 to protect vulnerable people including children, older people and those with reduced mental or physical capacity from injury while washing or bathing. TMV2 complies with UK Building Regulations to reduce the risk of scalding in domestic properties or similar situations.

The Water Regulations Advisory Scheme (WRAS) is funded by all UK water suppliers and makes sure water’s delivered safely through promoting the Water Regulations and thoroughly testing products to make sure they comply. These include: → Testing component materials and lubricants to make sure they won’t contaminate drinking water → Endurance tests on all taps to check the quality and lifespan of the valve → Checking products are designed and installed so there’s no chance of contamination through stored or waste water entering the mains supply
