BlueStart ® technology enables significant energy savings as only cold water flows when the tap is used with the lever in the centred position. With standard taps most people turn on the water in the mid-lever position, resulting in a mix of hot and cold water. But very often warm water isn’t needed at all. Cold water is usually sufficient for washing hands, brushing teeth or cleaning. BlueStart ® technology avoids this unnecessary warm water use, reduces energy consumption, lowers CO 2 emissions and saves money.
