Ensuring the ultimate shower and bath experience, the PreciTherm ® thermostatic cartridge offers unrivalled levels of durability, safety and performance. Created to prevent potentially harmful fluctuations in water temperature, Ideal Standard’s intelligent engineering prevents sudden surges of hot or cold water from causing discomfort or, at worst, scalding. Rises or drops of up to 20°C are possible with nonthermostatic mixer valves, when a toilet is flushed or a hot tap is run elsewhere in the building, for example. With PreciTherm ® , the maximum fluctuation is 1.5°C for up to two seconds before the temperature rebalances.

Our proprietary technology ensures hot water flow is always surrounded by cold water, keeping the external surface cool to the touch. This protects users of all ages from accidental scalding and offers total comfort of use, as the thermostat is never too hot to operate, no matter how you like your shower.
