Water saving Toilet cisterns have a capacity of 6 L & water flush volume control. The carefully engineered construction, provides high speed flush & a very good pan cleaning. Soft Closing System for the toilet seat The Soft Close automatic closure system, finally puts an end to noisy closing WC seats. Just a fingertip touch and the lid closes all by itself. Gently and silently, almost weightless. This technique offers safe, noiseless and gradual closing of the toilet seat. Installing a WC seat with Soft Close automatic closure, is just as simple as using it and it is also very reliable.

Hidden fixation Visible holes are easily dirtied and spoil the total aesthetic picture of the bathroom ceramics. The hidden fixing system offers an attractive alternative and provides easier cleaning.

Ideal Flow It is a hidden overflow system without a drain hole, for easy cleaning, better aesthetics without restrictions in the design and maximization of the free space of the furniture.

Anti steam mirror system This system is offered by some IS mirrors. It makes you time in front of the mirror a real pleasure. Push-to-open system Doors and drawers are equipped with a slowing device for slow and silent closing. Some collections have doors and drawers without handles - they are opened with a single push.

Lighting Some IS furniture and mirrors are equipped with integrated lights, with integrated sensor, or with internal power socket for the turning light on/off.

Cold start BlueStart® technology That unique technology helps you save water, energy and therefore money by only delivering cold water, when the tap handle is in the middle position. This clever piece of technology means avoiding unnecessarily heating up water when you turn on the tap.

Click technology The adjustable water saving function gives you the possibility to personally control water consumption. By raising the mixer handle until you hear a “click”, water supply is adjusted to 50%; with just a slight push, water supply is adjusted up to 100%.

The tap is assembled with one hand when the rubber membrane is on the “screw nut”. The sealing component secures the best installation of the tap on the porcelain and perfect sealing.

Top-Fix fixation system Installation with the Ideal Standard Top-Fix system follows simple steps. A hexagonal key (allen) is enough to fix the mixer from the top of the porcelain. Convincing advantages: - easy fixing from top, - all fixing components are already assembled in the package, - tools included in the package, - fast assembly and, therefore, fast installation, - central water proof securing the best placement of the tap in the ceramic and perfect sealing.

Cool Body technology For complete safety, this superior technology means the thermostatic surface never heats up, keeping little fingers safe.

Hidden Aerator The hidden flow aerator in selected Ideal Standard mixers has a flow tip without visible slot. It is as reliable as a normal flow filter and, at the same time, it is safe against stealing. The replacement key is included in the product’s package.

Adjustable aerator It allows smooth and accurate positioning of the water stream in all directions. The wanted position can be easily achieved by pressing the aerator on a flat surface. Swiveling angle is +/-7 °.

IdealPure® - a revolution in water hygiene Connect Blue introduces IdealPure®: a unique nickel and lead- free design for basin and kitchen mixers used to draw water for cooking and drinking. It’s the first fitting on the market with nickel- free waterways, anticipating and exceeding new European Drinking Water directives. Water passing through the IdealPure® system never touches chrome-nickel: copper pipes are unplated inside, while water-bearing surfaces are made from plastic. Another innovative feature of Connect Blue is that the amount of water held in the fitting is reduced by 80%, so there is less water to flush through and reheat. That also means that there is 80% less water in the tap to stagnate and allow bacterial growth.

Temperature control IS thermostatic mixers have a temperature control mechanism which safes temperature that’s maintained at all times. Some of the mixers have a temperature control button which is set at minimum 40°C (usually at installation) and guarantee you saving energy and money.

Hot Water Temperature Control (HWTC) Mechanically restricts the range of movement of the handle, thereby controlling the maximum hot water temperature. Possible limitation in different degrees (shown in the Installation Instruction). Prevents burning and saves money.

Ideal Grip antislip treatment Our ceramic shower trays Strada and acrylic shower trays UltraFlat are extra functional – they are offered with anti-slip surface, and they are good looking (they are with smooth surface (with no pattern). It performs the highest antislip class “C“ and complies with DIN 51097 Ideal Solid® material • The cast marble core (composed of natural mineral charges and resin) is coated with a technical enamel that gives it an opaque finish with „Stone” effect, • This coating combines full recoverability of the surface and excellent resistance: chemical (EN14527) and bacterial/fungal EN ISO 846, • Anti-slip surface - The Highest ramp test - class C, acc.to DIN 51097.

Ceramic materials

Materials

Vitreous china is made from a mixture of white burning clays and finely ground minerals which after firing at high temperature, and when unglazed, does not have a mean value of water absorption greater than 0.5% of the dry weight. This 99.5% vitreosity means that, even unglazed, it cannot be contaminated by bacteria and will remain hygienic. It is coated on all exposed surfaces with an impervious non-crazing vitreous glaze giving white or colored finish. Vitreous china is stainproof, burnproof, rotproof, rustless, non-fading and is resistant to acids and alkalis. To produce vitreous china (and fireclay) a solution of slip is prepared. Slip is the term used in the trade to define casting clay. The ingredients for vitreous china casting slip are ball clay, china clay, sand, fluxing agent and water. The main characteristics of these products are: • Water absorption capacity <0.5%. • Firing temperature: 1200ºC - 1220ºC. • Acid, base, hot water, stain impact, abrasion, thermal shock resistant. • Resistance to bending (500kg/cm2). Fine Fireclay is made from a mixture of ground Vitreous China and Fireclay and has the advantage of holding shape better whilst manufactured. It is particularly suitable for products such as vanity basins and shower trays where it is important to achieve a flat base, whilst keeping the finish associated with vitreous china. Seat & cover materials: Duroplast - the raw material is in granules form and based on special pressing moulds, at the temperature of around 150°C in 2 tone press. • Resistant to cigarette burn marks – in accordance to DIN 438-2.18 regulation. • Static Electricity – resistant to static electricity & this is why they repel dust. • UV radiation – resistant to UV radiation - in accordance to EN 438-2.18 regulation. • Durability – in accordance to EN 438-2.14 regulation, all seats are subjected to 150-kg endurance test. • Chemical resistant – in accordance to EN 438-2.15 regulation. Characteristics of Duroplast: • Safety environment – no environmentally harmful substances.

Brass fitting materials

Materials

The taps and mixers are made of brass of constant and controlled chemical content to meet the European standards. The brass has a low lead content significantly under the norm of 1.6%. The company guarantees customers the materials high quality without risk for health. Coatings: In order to achieve the shiny surface the company uses the proven method of electroplating. Thanks to the modern equipment there are met the European standards EN 248, DIN 50021, ISO 9927, ISO 5002 and there are achieved a high quality nickel finish of 12.6 to 15.3 μ and a chrome finish of 0.327 to 1.470 μ. All plastic details are electroplated after being previously copper plated which assures the surface durability and its aesthetic look.

Acrylic materials

The quality of acrylic bathtubs and shower trays meets the highest requirements. All stipulated specifications are strictly observed and the production and our products are certified by TÜV. The TÜV certification symbol further certifies the exclusive use of the quality acrylic material according to EN 14516: 2010 European Standards. Furthermore, the acrylic products bear the AFNOR NF certification mark. The Ideal Standard bathtubs are, therefore, synonymous to exceptional quality.

• Scratch resistance. • Chemical/ solvent element resistance. • UV resistance (does not become yellow). • Material sturdiness (does not break). • Shiny appearance: glossy texture.
