Diamatec ® brass

Diamatec ® Brass is our most advanced brassware engineering. Made possible by the development of a much stronger, corrosion-resistant zinc-copper alloy, Diamatec Brass enables Ideal Standard to create taps with optimal wall thickness, reducing raw material consumption without sacrificing durability. While many manufacturers are yet to begin using dezincification resistant (DZR) alloys, more than 90% of our fittings are now manufactured using Diamatec Brass. Installing Ideal Standard brassware means you can support sustainability while reducing the risk of failures and leaks, even in the toughest of water conditions.
