IDEAL STANDARD PRODUCTS COMPLIANCE WITH INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS

A. Ideal Standard sanitary products made of vitreous china are manufactured according to the European specifications, as described in the relevant standards: EN31, EN32, DIN1386, DIN19541, EN35, EN36, EN14528, EN33, EN34, EN37, EN38, EN997, EN80, DIN19542 and are accompanied by CE marking, when applied in line with directive EN997. Furthermore, the production process has been certified with the ISO 9001 quality assurance certificate.

The main characteristics of these products are: 1. Water absorption capacity < 0.5% 2. Firing temperature: 1200°C - 1220°C 3. Acid, base, hot water, stain impact, abrasion, thermal shock resistant 4. Resistance to bending (500kg/cm2)

B. Plastic products comply with the specifications of the European/Greek ELOT 1044/89 standard and have 2-year guarantee.

C. Sanitary brass products comply with the ISO 9001 specifications, which became a European Standard with the code EN 29001, as well as with EN 200, EN 246, EN 248, EN 817, EN 1112, EN 1113, EN 1717, EN 12164, DIN 4109 - 1 and have 5-years guarantee. All materials used in contact with drinking water are in accordance with KTW, ACS and WRAS. D. The production of Ideal Standard whirlpools and shower enclosures is certified with ISO 9001:2000 quality assurance certificate. The whirlpool bathtubs are manufactured on the basis of the specifications of the European standards: EN 60335- 1, EN 60335-2-60, EN55014-1, EN55014-2, EN 6100-3-2, EN 61000-3-3, according to the norms 73/23/CEE –93/68/CEE – 85/374/CEE – 89/336/CEE. The mechanical & electronic parts of the whirlpools have a 2-years guarantee.

E. The Ideal Standard acrylic sheets are produced according to NF 263, NF ISO 7823-1 standards and have 25-years guarantee under the proper operation conditions.
