Created to prevent potentially harmful fluctuations in water temperature, Ideal Standard’s intelligent engineering prevents sudden surges of hot or cold water from causing discomfort or, at worst, scalding. Rises or drops of up to 20°C are possible with non thermostatic mixer valves, when a toilet is flushed or a hot tap is run elsewhere in the building, for example. With PreciTherm ® , the maximum fluctuation is 1.5°C for up to two seconds before the temperature re balances.
