Crafting timeless elegance

Design is an ever-evolving process, often in ways that are not immedi ately tangible. However, this doesn't necessitate reinventing your style or identity with every new trend. For me, it means crafting something that seamlessly integrates aesthetics, performance, heritage, and modernity to create timeless products. Nothing embodies this fusion of influences more than the Atelier Collections by Ideal Standard. This is an exquisite family of product ranges, where elegance meets functionality, and where every curve, every line, is a testament to timeless design. These bathroom ranges are not merely functional things to own; they are expressive pieces, conceived to elevate our daily rituals into moments of indulgence and enjoyment which help to improve our lives. Ideal Standard’s rich history gives me, as a designer, so much to draw upon and to inspire, balancing this appreciation of legacy with a desire to always look forward and push ourselves towards new possibilities. Behind the seamless aesthetics lies a dedication to performance. This could be in the innovative materials or the advanced technolo gies; every component is there to ensure a lifetime of superior functionality and durability. When contemplating the ways in which bathrooms can enhance our daily lives, I think of La Dolce Vita ® . In Italy, it signifies an apprecia tion for life's simple pleasures; the everyday moments. Our range of the same name embodies this sentiment, crafting a tactile, expressive space whose sensuality ignites inspiration and dreams, fostering the birth of new ideas. In designing the La Dolce Vita ® products, it was imperative to encapsu late this essence and infuse it into every facet of the collection. go-to solution for busy bathrooms. Independent research shows 88% of households would buy an Ideal Standard RimLS+, a toilet with excellent hygiene performance.

A circular economy involves minimising material usage from the very beginning. Diamatec®, made with a distinctive blend of alumina and chamotte, achieves exceptional strength and durability with less material. To make an equally durable product, we would have to use 25% more fine fire clay material. However, the robust nature of Diamatec® ceramic material means we can craft thinner basins using less material.

With every flush, RimLS+® delivers a powerful whole-bowl clean with no place for bacteria to hide. Splash-free and easier to clean, RimLS+® is the

The collection’s WCs feature either AquaBlade® technology or RimLS+® on wall-hung bowls for excellent flushing performance and improved hygiene. The FirmaFlow® ceramic cartridge in our taps ensures durability and PVD technology makes our coloured taps extremely hardwearing. EcoFlow regulators in the taps and shower products reduce water consumption, while toilets are designed to flush efficiently with only 4.5L per full flush, promoting a more sustainable use of water.

The innovative fitting features sequential mixer technology for precise temperature and flow control, with an optional touchless model providing enhanced convenience. The Solos shower range combines intuitive controls, a variety of spray modes, and integrated ambient lighting for a luxurious, spa-like experience. The basin's fine, straight lines and extremely thin edges give it a distinctive weightless look, while the sophisticated fitting completes the seamless, pure appearance. Only the graceful spout and control knob are visible, with the supporting technology hidden underneath the basin, making this combination truly unique. Crafted from Diamatec® - a unique blend of Alumina and Chamotte - the basin offers unprecedented strength and durability. The tap hole has been drilled with such precision that there is no need for an escutcheon ring, which would typically hide any small breakages and ensure stability.

SOLOS

Solos is packed with hidden technology that quietly makes life better. Here’s what our sequential valve and capacitive sensor do for you.

SEQUENTIAL VALVE

A sequential valve creates a tap where turning a single handle or lever controls both water flow and temperature. They are simple to operate and are often used in taps for accessible bathrooms and washrooms. Here’s how they work: Turning to the right closes the valve and shuts off the water. Turning progressively to the left first delivers cold water, then warm water and fully to the left hot water. Please note: A special basin with small holes is needed for the Solos tap with the Ø20mm spout and Ø30mm handle.

CAPACITIVE SENSOR

Capacitive sensors are not visible, unlike infrared sensors, offering opportunities for sleeker, more minimalist design. Here’s how it works: One electrode is attached to the spout and another to the wall under the basin. A thermostatic pre-mixer is installed on the angle valve to the wall. The sensor has three levels of sensitivity which can be adjusted after installation with the control button on the sensor box. Touchless detection starts and stops the water. Water starts to flow when the hand approaches the spout from any direction and stays on as long as the hands are within range.

For more flexibility, Solos fittings can also be combined with our Extra-Solos basins.

The Solos showering range combines intuitive, smart controls with a sleek, minimalist look and a variety of spray modes to create a sophisticated all-in-one showering solution. Navigo® technology in the thermostatic mixers allows you to operate the water flow of the shower with one smooth push-and-turn movement, to easily switch between rain shower and hand-spray and even to experience them both simultaneously.

Solos includes intuitive controls on the shower mixers to easily select the different sprays of the rain shower. The Navigo® spray selector on the extra-large hand shower makes switching spray modes equally convenient. For more flexibility, the range includes both built-in and wall-mounted models, as well as head showers in two different sizes that can be wall or ceiling-mounted and come with or without the light feature. The built-in model even features a remote control that can either be attached to the unit or installed elsewhere in the showering area. With the light option, you can set the tone for the full spectrum shower experience. The shower head LED light control integrates with all apps and devices using any smart home apps - such as Philips Hue or Amazon Echo.
