Rimless technology Hygienic, Clean, Beautiful When it comes to products conceptualized for health protection, cleanliness and hygiene play a key role. This applies to all areas of implementation of bathroom sanitary products, whether they are installed in the private or, even more important, in the public domains. Ideal Standard products offer the hygienic and functional prerequisites. We would like to highlight the Rimless technology as a special innovation in the realm of bathroom products. Rimless is destined for areas that require exceptionally high level of hygiene and a product that is really easy to clean.

100 % RIMLESS FLUSHING In order to be able to abandon the approach of the capped flushing ring an important role was assigned to the calculation and analysis of the flushing efficiency of water torrents whereby the water quantity stays the same. As a result the 100% rimless flushing technology enables an efficient flush of the bowl and achieves an unsurpassed standard of hygiene.

Hygiene and cleanliness A substantial advantage of the rimless flushing technology is due to the easy-to-clean concept that also saves time and cost.

Rimless Hybrid Technology

Optimized Flushing Technology The Rimless Hybrid Technology includes a slight overhang and a recessed flushing distribution channel. The water streams through the upper rim area which constitutes an open channel and flows finally in a way that it flushes the entire inside of the toilet bowl.

The Flushing Technology In order to be able to avoid entirely a capped and/or boxed ring Ideal Standard analyzed the behavior of water flows and as a result a new flushing technology was developed. This technology allows perfect cleaning of the entire functional area of the bowl where a minimum amount of water is required.

The water gushes through the 2 bigger lateral flushing orifices on the back of the functional area and along a visible flushing route that follows the outer perimeter on the top of the bowl. The smaller orifice in the middle sprays the bowl area over the syphon.
